Over P1 Per Liter Fuel Price Rollback Expected Next Week

Manila, Philippines – Motorists can expect a significant fuel price rollback next week, with gasoline, diesel, and kerosene prices set to decrease.

According to Department of Energy (DOE) Oil Industry Management Bureau Assistant Director Rodela Romero, the estimated price reductions based on Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) trading are:

πŸ”» Gasoline: β‚±1.40 to β‚±1.70 per liter
πŸ”» Diesel: β‚±0.90 to β‚±1.20 per liter
πŸ”» Kerosene: β‚±1.50 to β‚±1.70 per liter

The anticipated rollback is attributed to:
βœ… Increased U.S. crude oil stockpiles
βœ… OPEC+ plans to boost oil production by April
βœ… Trade tensions from U.S. tariffs on Canada, China, and Mexico

Fuel companies will announce the official price adjustments on Monday, effective Tuesday, March 12.
