Pag-IBIG Releases ₱30.22B in Home Loans in Q1 2025, Up 8% Year-on-Year

Pag-IBIG Fund has disbursed ₱30.22 billion in home loans during the first quarter of 2025, marking an 8% increase compared to the ₱28.09 billion released in the same period last year.

According to a statement released Thursday, the loan amount enabled 20,315 Pag-IBIG members to acquire their own homes between January and March.

“This strong performance reflects our continued commitment to helping Filipino families access affordable housing,” said Jose Rizalino Acuzar, Secretary of Human Settlements and Urban Development and Chair of the Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees.

He linked the increase in loan releases to the growing momentum of the government’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, which supports President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s housing agenda.

Pag-IBIG CEO Marilene C. Acosta also emphasized the fund’s role in financing both developers and individual homebuyers under the 4PH Program. In Q1 2025, Pag-IBIG released ₱987.91 million through 4PH, benefitting 669 members and their families.

Acosta noted that the agency’s strong Q1 performance highlights both its financial health and its mission to make homeownership more attainable for Filipino workers.
