Paris Hilton opens a Virtual World on the Metaverse

Paris Hilton plans to kick off the New Year with a virtual party held in the Metaverse. The venue for the event will be her virtual world on a Roblox island.

According to Reuters, Hilton created the metaverse site and has labeled it Paris World. The virtual island features digital models of the socialite’s Beverly Hills estate and dog mansion. The space also includes a walk along the boardwalk designed by Carter Reum for his wedding celebration.

Additionally, visitors can also choose to navigate the entire island whilst riding a luxury sports car or on the water via the Sunray yacht. With the opening of the virtual world, Hilton has started her own metaverse business as she has also been collecting fees for jetski bookings and virtual clothing.

“For me, the metaverse is somewhere that you can do everything you can do in real life in the digital world,” Reuters quoted Paris as saying in a statement. “Not everybody gets to experience that, so that is what we’ve been working together on over the past year — giving them all my inspirations of what I want in that world.”

Hilton also explains her decision to partner with Roblox as she believes that the platform is the most ideal. Her space in Roblox includes a private jet, DJ stages, a house, a zoo, and more. Her avatar will soon be living on the island.

“Roblox is such an amazing gaming platform to be a part of and it’s so exciting to be launching Paris World,” she told Variety. “I can’t wait for my fans, new users, and the gaming community to experience my metaverse.”
