Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to resume its direct flights between Cebu and Osaka, Japan, beginning December 22, 2024. The Cebu-Osaka route will operate three times weekly, with flights every Monday, Thursday, and Sunday.
The schedule is as follows:
PAL will further increase this service to four weekly flights starting February 26, 2025, adding a Wednesday schedule.
PAL President and COO Captain Stanley Ng expressed excitement over the relaunch, emphasizing its benefits for the tourism sector and cultural ties between Cebu and Japan.
The Cebu-Osaka route will be serviced by a 199-seater Airbus A321, complementing PAL’s existing flights between Manila and Osaka, as well as daily flights between Cebu and Tokyo Narita.
Additionally, PAL offers other international flights from Cebu, including daily trips to Seoul (Incheon) and thrice-weekly flights to Bangkok.
