The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) suffered a 58% drop in revenue in 2020 due to lockdown measures taken to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
Royina M. Garma, PCSO Vice Chairman and General Manager, said its revenues last year fell to ₱18.63 billion from ₱44.03 billion in 2019.
The PCSO in 2020 generated ₱6.8 billion from Lotto, ₱5.7 billion from Small Town Lottery, ₱5.1 billion from Digit Games, ₱407 million from Keno and ₱522 million from Instant Sweepstakes.
