Billionaire Ramon Ang has issued a strong warning against fake news articles and deepfake videos falsely claiming that he endorses an investment opportunity.
“Let me be absolutely clear—this is a scam. I have never endorsed, and will never endorse, any investment opportunity online,” Ang stated in a social media post.
🔹 Scammers claim that Ang endorsed investments promising $1,000 to ₱175,000 in weekly earnings.
🔹 Fake videos and articles are circulating online to mislead the public.
🚨 Do NOT engage with anyone claiming to represent San Miguel Corporation (SMC) without verification.
🚨 Do NOT share personal information with suspicious pages, posts, or messages.
🚨 Report fake accounts and pages to social media platforms and authorities.
Ang questioned why these fraudulent ads continue to circulate unchecked:
“Why are these fake ads still being allowed? Real action is needed to stop deepfake scams before more people fall victim.”
He urged Filipinos to stay vigilant, report scams, and spread awareness to protect others.
