Reckitt Benckiser Healthcare Inc., the manufacturer of Lysol, donated ₱7.046-million to The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to support its emergency field hospital and isolation facility operations.
The company previously donated a total of ₱39 million to establish the PRC Cagayan molecular laboratory, the COVID-19 Samaritan Program which saw the testing of 4,500 Filipinos from exceptionally vulnerable communities, and to help drive its Disinfect to Protect mission.
“Lysol has been a long-time partner of the Philippine Red Cross in battling this pandemic. I am very thankful for Lysol’s donation to further support the services of PRC to cater to the most vulnerable affected by Covid-19,” said Senator Richard Gordon, PRC Chairman and CEO.
The donation turnover event was held at the PRC National Headquarters. Among the attendees were Sen. Gordon, Secretary-General Elizabeth Zavalla, General Manager, RB Healthcare Philippines Inc. Ms. Aleli Arcilla, Director, Regulatory Affairs and Policy Alfred So, Manager, and Government Affairs, and Consumer Relation Atty. Diana R. Mari.
