Reviving Joy: Fiesta Carnival Reopens with a Mix of Classic and Modern Fun

Fiesta Carnival, a cherished childhood destination, has reopened its doors in Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City, reviving a magical world of amusement and nostalgia. Once heralded as “Manila’s Mini Disneyland,” the carnival first welcomed guests in 1971 and operated year-round, offering a myriad of leisure and amusement options. However, it closed in the early 2000s, leaving a void in the hearts of many who had grown up with its enchanting experiences.

Now, after almost two decades, Fiesta Carnival has returned, transformed into a larger, brighter, and more exciting version of its former self. The indoor amusement park now boasts an impressive blend of classic and modern attractions. Visitors can enjoy the traditional bumper cars, a carousel, and a skating rink, alongside contemporary additions like go-karts, a mini bowling alley, and a variety of game booths.

The park’s revival also sees the introduction of a “Mini Fiesta Carnival” located outside, aimed at fostering new memories for those who remember the original carnival. This blend of old and new ensures that both older and newer generations can share in the unique joy and excitement that the carnival brings.

Among the highlights of the reopened Fiesta Carnival are the jump playground, roller-skating rink, bump car area, and carousel. Additionally, the park features an array of arcade games, including claw machines and dance machines, as well as a billiard area. For the more adventurous, there are attractions like Chicken Run and Ball Battle City, along with Tiger Train, Happy Wheel, Speed Star, Walking Dino, Boat Pool, Jurassic Adventure, Snow Playground, Soft Playground, and Electric Carnival.

The return of Fiesta Carnival is more than just the reopening of an amusement park; it’s a revival of a cultural icon, a bridge between generations, and a testament to the enduring allure of shared joy and amusement. It stands as a Christmas gift from Araneta City to the people, a gesture to pass on the cherished experiences from one generation to the next.
