The CyberQ Group, a United Kingdom-based cybersecurity services, and consultancy firm is looking to expand its global presence with plans to launch in the Philippines. With its entry into the country, the company hopes to introduce Cyber Fusion technology — the next generation in cybersecurity — which integrates cybersecurity functions into a single connected unit making it more efficient to detect, manage, and respond to threats.

This particular innovation is aimed at promoting intelligence synthesis and inter-team collaboration, especially when dealing with cyber threats. It, likewise, allows the CyberQ Group to engage with businesses more closely and enables them to understand an enterprise’s work operations, needs, as well as the necessary security advice and guidance.

The CyberQ Group’s move to the Philippines was prompted by a number of things, among them is to employ and foster cybersecurity experts within the country. Additionally, the company is eyeing the establishment of its Centre of Excellence in the Philippines in an effort to provide local companies with more competent technologies and services.

“Assumptions made on cyber and data security are constantly challenged by IT leaders and industry movers and shakers. With such a high level of scrutiny, we are driven to maintain our cyber solutions as breach-free,” explained CyberQ Group CEO for the Asia Pacific Roberto Tayag.

“Over the years, we have developed a sterling reputation as the benchmark standard for preventing data breaches, speed of response, and restoring systems that organizations measure themselves against. And now we are more than thrilled to bring these standards to the Philippines,” Tayag furthered.

Meanwhile, Director of Trade and Investment at the British Embassy Manila Richard Colley noted that it is crucial to “ensure we have strong cyber security systems and protocols in place” and that CyberQ’s entry into the Philippines “will reinforce our co-operation in this area.” The company offers a wide array of services such as Cloud Security and Continuous Breach Detection Service, which can easily be tailored to address specific security needs and risks.
