Venture Capital Firms and Startups Convene at BGC’s VC Socials

Last month, TNB Aura, a Southeast Asia-focused venture capital firm, hosted the VC Socials event in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, bringing together venture capitalists and startups from across the Philippines. The event featured TNB Aura’s David Bonifacio, GMA Ventures Inc. president Regie Bautista, and RockMedical founder Jeff Hofer, among others.

The VC Socials, held regularly in Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, aims to connect regional venture capital communities. TNB Aura, which is expanding its presence in the Philippines, has partnered with GMA Ventures to invest in healthcare startups. Recently, the firms signed an agreement with Hofer Development Company, the parent company of RockMedical, which develops over-the-counter healthcare products.

Bonifacio highlighted GMA’s strategic investments beyond media, indicating more collaborative ventures between TNB Aura and GMA Ventures are anticipated next year.
