The world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, was recently spotted in the Philippines by plane spotter Lance Fernandez.
In a report aired on “24 Oras Weekend,” Fernandez noted that the Airbus A380 rarely passes through the Philippines, as it does not typically operate passenger flights in the country. “They come here only for maintenance,” he explained.
According to Kuya Kim’s report, the A380 is an impressive 72.7 meters long, 24.1 meters high, with a wingspan of 79.8 meters. The aircraft has two floors and can accommodate 555 passengers in a three-class configuration. If configured for an all-economy layout, it could seat up to 850 passengers.
