Tesla Launches First Supercharging Stations in the Philippines

Tesla Philippines has officially opened its first supercharging stations at Uptown Mall, Bonifacio Global City, marking a significant milestone in the country’s transition to sustainable energy and electric vehicle (EV) adoption.

Efficient Charging Technology

Tesla’s supercharging stations, operating at a peak efficiency of 250 kilowatts (kW), can provide:

• A charge that lasts up to 120 kilometers in just five minutes.
• Full charging for a Tesla Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive (range: up to 513 kilometers) at a cost of ₱1,140 on a pay-per-use basis at ₱19 per kW.

Expansion Plans

Tesla Regional Director Isabel Fan emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its charging network across the Philippines.
“Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy by integrating EV charging into people’s lifestyles. We aim to create a seamless EV experience and will closely collaborate to expand our network,” Fan said.

Tesla Models Available in the Philippines

Tesla’s EV lineup is now accessible in the Philippines, with the following models and prices:

• Model 3: ₱2,136,000 (inclusive of VAT).
• Model Y: ₱2,396,000 (inclusive of VAT).

Both models are available for viewing and ordering in the country.

The launch aligns with the growing interest in EVs among Filipino consumers, as indicated by increasing adoption rates and government initiatives supporting sustainable transportation.
