Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) has named Reginaldo “Reggie” Cariaso as its new president and chief executive officer (CEO), succeeding Eugene Acevedo, who officially retired on July 1, 2025.
Cariaso, who previously served as RCBC’s deputy CEO starting January 2025, led the bank’s Operations Group and corporate-wide efforts to improve service and streamline systems.
In a statement, Cariaso outlined his leadership vision: “We aim to build seamless connections and deliver financial solutions that are relevant, timely, and intuitive.” He emphasized a shift toward more customer-centric, future-ready banking powered by digital innovation, smarter data use, and system integration.
“Our focus goes beyond basic transactions—we’re building scalable strategies that integrate platforms, data, and teams to create better outcomes,” he said.
Eugene Acevedo, who had led RCBC since 2019, will remain active within the bank as a member of its Board of Directors.
As of March 2025, RCBC ranked as the sixth-largest bank in the Philippines, with assets totaling ₱1.509 trillion.
